On Tap at the Brewery – 11/15/2014
Taster from flight
A: Lightly burnished golden caramel look with some fair clearing to it. Another pure white capper with a good hold to it. Lightly etched dots and ribbons of lacing stay behind.
S: The Fresh Hop smells like super fresh dank nuggets. Pungent, weedy, and herbal. I get some caramel sweet cracker there and a finish of floral pine and citrus twisted in. Really fresh and danky dank!
T: Taste like the sticky icky as well. Some crazy kush flavors to this one. Dank with an herbal tea leaf note and some lesser traditional hop flavors of pine and citrus mixed in. Touch of caramel malts underneath to balance. Moderate on the actual bitterness with the alcohol really well masked. Awesome flavor. Straight heady cheese in a glass.
M: Moderate to lighter body with a nice spritzy carbonation. Moderate levels of bitterness constricting at the palate. Finishes out dryer and not all that resinous but with some linger to it.
D: This is everything I love when going for a Fresh Hopped Ale. Great herbal weed flavors with some nice balance all around. Bring on the dank!

A good beer but nothing mind-blowing. It's actually an American Pale Ale, not an IPA (at least according to the beer board at KRBC).
