On tap at Kern River Brewing Co
A: Pours dark brown with a frothy khaki head that settles to a thin layer and leaves a little nice lacing.
S: Roasty espresso dominates with hints of dark chocolate and smoke.
T: Big espresso hit, roasty malt, earthy, with hints of dark fruit.
M: A bit on the lighter side of medium body, maybe a bit over carbonated.
O: Not a bad brew, it accomplishes what it sets out to be, but it's a bit one dimensional. I would love a little more depth of flavor behind the espresso and a little lower carbonation to give a fuller mouthfeel.
