16 oz can into nonic pint glass
Classic Kern-style IPA, if there is such a thing (there is). Cloudy, straw-yellow appearance with a big fluffy head and sticky lacing. Grassy, rind-y bouquet with citrus pith and cracker notes at the edges. West-coast style hop profile, piny and citrusy and crisp, with ample honey-sweet malts for balance. Well carbonated brew, refreshing finish.
Feels like this is something they would brewed up 8 years ago, but with all of the overhyped styles and rapid evolution of the IPA, this tastes novel and cutting-edge. And it’s damn tasty.

Oh my sweet hell... Southern Passage has taken a passage to Raul’s heart. Like, sorry Candice Swanpoel, this Valentine’s Day Raul is gonna spend it with Kern River. Wowie to all the zowies. Boom boom to all the zoom zooms. Kapow to Raul’s head. This one is a Jack Dempsey KO and I will gladly accept that.
