On cask at Volo's Cask Days, 2011. 50 IBUs.
Pours a hazy golden brown-y yellow, with a darker offwhite head and dense bubbles. Nose is certainly Five-Alive, quite a unique hop profile, but spot on. Loads of powerful citrus notes, clementine, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon etc. Some sweetness. Taste is more Five-Alive, bitter with some cracker-y malt notes. Cask wasn't the best treatment to present the hops here I thought, and the citrus notes come through fairly harsh. Medium mouthfeel with a bit higher carbonation, and more active on the palate then any other cask for the day. Very nice for what it resembles, but I'm not sold on the cask for the ideal serving vessel; bottle or keg this Half Pints.

Cask Days 2011. Bitters in aroma. Cloudy grapefruit body. Grapefruit taste, nice. Good drinkability. A bit too much sugar here, impairing the full grapefruit taste from shining through. 50 IBU. I would try this again in bottle or on tap to see how it fares.
