16.9 fl.oz. bottle, from Vinmonopolet. Bottled November 2015. ABV is 5.9%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of acid, stale lemons and brettanomyces. Fizzy mouthfeel, The medium sour flavour has notes of lemons, funk, vinegar and brettanomyces. Better flavour when more of the yeast is poured in. Not something I'd buy again, though.

Vintage 2015, 5.9%, drank out of a Foam oversized tulip on 03.03.20.
Really enjoyed this; it aged really well and was a beautiful beer - my review perfectly echoes what LeRose's review prior to mine says, except I'll add that it was a very controllable gusher (probably should have left it in the refrigerator a little longer) and when it settled down, the head and lacing remained throughout, and revealed a beautiful soft delicate saison that I would gladly get again.

Vintage dated June 2015, 5.9% ABV farmhouse ale.
It pours nicely, clear goldish color with a tall, dense, foamy head.
On the nose, the funk is mild on this one, a bit wheaty, a bit white wine like on the nose.
It is quite subtle in the taste. Opens slightly tart, then a bit of malt and wheat, a slight fruitiness that reminds me if Juicy Fruit gum. It brings da funk at the end, and it is substantially more prevalent in the taste. Nicely acidic, and a hefty coriander and pepper note in the aftertaste. Definite white grape/wine in the aromatic taste as well.
Soft mouthfeel, slightly dry on the finish, nicely carbonated.
An enjoyable beer with just enough "barnyard" to make it interesting.

Another great Alabama Smuttynose find!
Pours a nice hazy straw yellow. Seltzery head of foam.
Getting those great yeast, barnyardy notes that Brett sours always have. Additional mild dry fruitiness combined with coriander and other spicy aromas.
Again, those musty, yeasty flavors ring true.. wheaty grain is also present along with some hints of malt and mild spiced peach.
Great frothy carbonation, light, and very dry. All saison characteristics you’d want.
A great farmhouse. Dry and frothy, the musty yeast combined with those spiced grains and barnyard character make this exactly what you’d want from the style.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of rustic malt notes with some light Brett notes is quite nice. Taste is a great mix of rustic malt with some light Brett notes and some spicy yeast undertones with a dry Brett finale. Body is about average with lots of carbonation. Very well brewed with great level of drinkability.

Pours a cloudy bright yellow golden color with fizzy white head. Funk, citrus, brett, and some wheat on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with funk and a very slight tartness.

Cloudy yellow topped with a pillowy, thin blanket.
Smell is barnyard, blue cheese, aged cheddar--this sucker is funky!
Nutty, stinky cheese flavor hits strong up front, with warm barnyard funk not taking a back seat. My old lady also detected rotten pumpkin, and I don't disagree. They with a little overboard with this brew.
