Swung by the Brewery today and had meself 12oz of this new nectar.
It was a medium to dark golden color; clear with steady carbo and a thin layer of fine white foam. Had some decent lacing on the glass. Smell had a hint of toasty malt but the citrussy hopping was prevalent. Medium in body, the feel was also fairly smooth, overall.
Flavor was quite light on the malt... mostly citrus present. Had some semisweet fruit, like apricot, at the outset. More dominant was the rindy, somewhat bitter grapefruit and pineapple. Had a subtle pithy edge to it, and I would have preferred a little more sweetness and something that stood out and kicked ass. Still, a nice offering, and better than #1, imo.... Prosit!
