Bottle from the brewery.
Slightly hazy deep copper color with faint ruby at the edges and a bubbly off white head that persists. Lots of banana on the nose with plenty of spicy yeast and rich caramel and brown sugary malt. Bits of earth and dark fruits round this out nicely. Rich beer, pretty tasty sipper.

Served in a small tulip at Hayseed Restaurant..... about a 12oz pour for $6.00.
It's an opaque, dark brown brew. Has a very thin head, mostly some beige foam at the edges, with light lacing. Aroma is typical for the style, with some choco, banana and clove. The body just barely gets into the medium range, and it is fairly smooth for a weizenbock.
Flavor piggybacks on the nose, with some caramel and chocolate notes leading off. Banana and clove meld nicely in a smooth mix of Germanic flavors. Though not an overwhelmingly noteworthy representation of the style, it is still solid and tasty. Prosit!
