On tap at Hayseed
Slightly hazy deep yellow with a small but fleeting head. Bits of alcohol pine earth and citrus in the nose and in the flavor. Light hints of diacetyl turn me off from this one.

The latest in a series of experimental DIPAs that Smutty is putting out... Had a 16oz glass today at Hayseed in Hampton.
Was a deep, opaque bronze/orange. Was quite a rich hue for a bier. Had a thin, wispy head, almost zip, with some light tan bubbles at the edges. Aroma was mostly piney citrus, but with a touch of malty sweetness. Body was a good medium, and it was easy on the prickle.
Taste had some toasty notes, and a smidge of caramel. Was medium sweet, with tangerine and apricot leading the way. Was also somewhat piney and resiny, but the sweetness was a tad more pronounced, with pineapple also getting mixed in. Bitterness was light in the finish. Very nice, overall. Prosit!!
