The Baddest Mother in the Valley is our ode to all things bad-ass and unexpected. This limited edition Black IPA is brewed like an American IPA but with the addition of rich, dark malts. This beer delivers on all the smooth, hoppy flavor you’d want, hidden under the cover of dark malt color.

A: Pours a near pitch black color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap that leaves good lacing
S: Roasted malt, light pine, citrus, and some caramel
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the roasted malt, pine, and citrus and then picks up some caramel and char. Moderately bitter, from both the roasted malt and hops. Finishes with lingering char, bitterness, and pine
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
O: A solid NE black IPA that is very well balanced and easy to drink. Not too bitter or hop forward and not too roasty. Definitely not pushing any new boundaries, but good stuff
