Whole Lotta Amarillo is anchored by a sturdy yet not overpowering malt foundation, providing the perfect stage for the star of the show to shine through. Hopped throughout the brewing process with ample amounts of Amarillo, this bold yet balanced double IPA bursts with notes of grapefruit and orange with just the right aroma kick of floral, resinous pine.
Be sure to experience this Amarillo hop showcase while you have the chance … because just like your favorite band coming to town, when it’s gone, it’s gone.
Malts: Rahr 2-row Silo, Rahr White Wheat, Grain Millers Flaked Oats, Weyerman Carafoam
Hops: Amarillo
Yeast: Chico

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a dark golden color a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of melons, malts, light citrus. Taste is melons, lemons, a strong malt backbone, a hint of pine, considerable bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Draft at Stone Mill Inn in York PA. Pours a hazy light amber with a nice off-white head. Great lacing. Initial impression is predominantly grapefruit, with notes of orange and mango, on a bready and slightly caramel malt base. Mouthfeel is thick, smooth and fluffy. Finish is gentle with very little bitterness, but a slight metallic taste. Overall, pretty good but not spectacular.

Light haze with a darker gold color. Good head which never dissipates completely. Thick, multi-ring lace.
Sweet pale (unfermented) malt nose initially. The hop is soft hop cone flowers.
The taste mimics the smell. Lots of creamy malt and malt sugars. Some toasted elements. Thick, rich body...almost extreme. Lower carbonation. The hop provides balance. The aftertaste fades quietly and quickly. Overall, I find the complexity appealing, easy-to-drink, and worthy to seek out.

Can from Market Basket.
Hazy golden lemon color with a good sized long lasting frothy white head. Lemony citrus and light earthy pine with a restrained sweet bready maltiness. Light grit in the mouthfeel. Pretty nice easy to drink flavorful IPA.
