16oz can poured into a tulip

A- pours clear and golden in color with a one-finger foamy white head that has good retention

S- aroma is fairly muted, grainy malt, vanilla and just a trace of strawberry

T- muted flavor up front eventually opens up to some sweet strawberry notes, followed by light notes of vanilla cream. The finish gives more strawberry with a hint of vanilla on the linger

M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into the finish

O- there's nothing about this beer that tastes like a stout, it drinks more like a cream ale with strawberry. It's enjoyable, but quite deceiving, given the labeling

Personally only had one Neapolitan based beer in my life but to see one at 4.5% rather than 6% I am curious to see how it stacks up.
A - Well that's the first difference a white stout kind of gimmicky in that right but I will continue. Color a bright clear orange yellow with an awkward head that quickly fizzes out but leaves a good ring.
S - Vanilla and strawberries on the nose not much chocolate and hard to imagine it with this beer looking stout. Smell is rather sweet which is inviting.
T - No roast no coffee since it's a white stout but a really nice vanilla to sour strawberry flavor I am enjoying.
M - Body is a bit heavier than I expected for 4.5% must be the sugar content to make it feel more full. Light to medium easy to crush.

Overall it's a tasty beverage with a cool looking cover art.
Really respecting the try though people seem to be enjoying it!

Canned 1/20/20

What's the point of a white stout anyways?? Pours a golden copper with about a finger of airy white head that fades way too fast

Smells really bland sadly, just some roasted malts, some mild vanilla and strawberry come through

There's a nice balance in the flavor here, nothing too overpowering, and I'm able to pick out the vanilla beans, the cacao, and the strawberry. The roast character still comes through despite the adjuncts

This drinks superrrrr light, just a crazy amount of carbonation for something like this, finishes pretty dry because of it

Well this was certainly interesting. Super light and sessionable, I could see myself putting back several of these. I think I might pour some for friends next time and not tell them what it is, I doubt they'll see this coming based off the pour

Can from Hannaford.
Pours a deep brilliant gold color with a thin bubbly white head that quickly recedes. Light roasty coffee with lots of strawberry flavoring and some light vanilla and chocolate. Kind of gimmicky but tasty and easy to drink.
