Love the brewer but this is dog food. Too candied, too odd, too fussy, busy. Bring me a seaside beer, please.
a) Looks nice enough. Pale, grapefruit haze body, rings of lace.
s) Candy store, beer missing.
t) Mostly long candy store shelf, open candy bits, sugar and fake colors, but beer is missing.
f) If you're going to be this halloween silly, at least support with some body, thin and over carbed.
o) Good enough for conversation, definitely one for the halloween candy (or to give out on halloween - to adults!)

From the bottom of the can, printed along the outer rim: "ABV 5.9% 12:04 Canned On 07/28/20"

Appearance: The body of the beer is a pale yellow and it is mostly opaque where light shines through but nothing is visible. The head is short and white, fizzy, and doesn't last long.

Aroma: There is no real aroma. A very light lemon scent sometimes comes through but it with eyes closed it would be hard to tell if the beer was even under the nose.

Taste: There is a bit of a sweet tasting lemon and tangerine flavor up front. There is a peach-like flavor that encompasses the beer. The aftertastes is lemon and thyme.

Mouthfeel: The body is thick and smooth. It has a wet finish and carbonation is very low.

Overall: The can says that this is a "PALE ALE BREWED WITH ORANGE PUREE VANILLA EXTRACT AND LACTOSE." The orange comes across a bit like tangerine and even more like lemon. It tastes sweet but it never has a vanilla character. As a whole it is like a mellowed out orange sorbet, so if you like that it could be worth trying. It's an interesting beer but I don't see myself buying it again.

Can from the Packie
Pours a lightly hazy deep yellow color with a thin off white head that quickly dissipates. Bready malt with some orange and vanilla. Not overdone, not too bad.
