Definitely a strange one. A sweet mint is the overwhelming taste left behind by this one. Definitely smells better than it tastes but much better than I expected. If you’re looking for a weird one this will definitely do

Canned 12/3/20
This is a weird one here. I've been sitting on it for quite a few months but haven't really been in the mood for it. Tonight, I'm in the mood for something weird, so why not bust this out? I really don't have any expectations so here we go
Pours a lightly cloudy yellow gold with 2 fingers of white head that quickly fades to a thin ring and leaves minimal lacing
The mint here is really perceived as pine in the nose, and there's a decent sweetness to back it up. I'm picking up on aromas of pine tree, milk chocolate, creamy malt, and a touch of acidic coffee
While the aroma was weird, it was still pretty good. However, this doesn't translate very well into the taste, feeling even less defined and more one note. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting pine and slightly soured mint. The swallow trends sweeter, bringing notes of mint, vanilla, and a minor note of sweetened coffee
A medium body pairs with very mild carbonation, resulting in a beer that's somehow both watery and filling simultaneously. Finishes dry and sweet
This one was really, really strange. I think my biggest issue is the lack of depth in flavor and body. Not a winner

L- pours thin, dark and golden, light foam
S- very light scent of mint chocolate
T- gentle flavor
F- super smooth and easy feeling
Not as gimmicky as I thought it would be. Chocolate mint is subtle but lingers.

From the bottom of the can, on the outer edge/rim, it is slightly cut-off but it appears to read: "ABV 5.5% 16:47 Canned On 12/03/20"
Appearance: The body is light gold colored with a bit of haze. Shadows and shapes are still visible through the glass. The head is short and white, which fades to a thin and fluffy white ring with a thin film across the surface of the beer.
Aroma: It smells like pine trees. There is a sour note on the beer which adds to the complexity. The sour note is not quite citrus but borders on lime. The beer smells closest to a scratch-and-sniff pine tree sticker. It is very intriguing to smell this beer. Inhaling the beer deeper doesn't result in any strengthening of aroma, but rather flattens it.
Taste: Pine comes through at first. There is a tease of lemon up front. Towards the middle there is this faint coffee character. The aftertaste is mint and lemon.
Mouthfeel: It feels watered down and dull when drinking, but it finishes a bit dry and spicy at the end. Low carbonation and very little impact on the palate. The mouthfeel doesn't seem to work well with this beer and likely wouldn't work too well with any beer.
Overall: The can states that this is a "MINT CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE ALE BREWED WITH LACTOSE, MINT & CHOCOLATE." Chocolate never enters the picture, and the presence of lactose seems similarly absent. This is the farthest one could get from a "milkshake ale" without entering Brut territory. There is an interesting pine-like flavor to the beer which straddles the line of spruce and pine, and it is not acknowledged at all in the name or ingredients list for the beer. This thing is all over the place and has no identity. I don't recommend it, even with its merits, because it will likely leave the drinker both confused and disappointed in the end. I wouldn't drink it again, even though I enjoyed the pine character.
I sincerely wish the brewer would readdress this beer and make something structured around the available flavor profile, because there is definitely something here, but this isn't it.

Can from the Packie,
Lightly hazy bright gold in color with a decent sized white head that persists. Roasted coffee hints of chocolate and a whole lot of mint. In my opinion this would have worked better as a stout, not this white stout crap.
