Poured from the can into a tulip glass.

Pale red color mostly clear appearance for the body with a touch of orange like color that nearly flirts with bronze like red. Not much noticeable carbonation to a simple two finger off pink head that settles to a half decent crowned collar.

Aroma hits with mild lactobacillus like sourness and faint touches of reddish pitted fruit. Doesn't particularly come of cherry in aroma, more like a sense of faint watermellon or some kind of mellon in a way. Has a bit of cough drop dryness as well.

Palate seems a bit dumbed down. Light and a bit of a watery body through a really neutral base it seems. Minimal sourness and even more so lack of sensing fruit to taste on the palate with maybe a faint hint of cherry. Finish has more of a sweetened malt base interestingly but makes for less of a sense that this is some type of sour beer let alone a fruity one.

Passable and drinkable, but doesn't really seem to deliver much.

This beer has a beautiful reddish color & thick, pink head. Black cherry is very evident in its nose. It is light-bodied & delicate, with good cherry flavors. An extremely refreshing brew that I will gladly drink again, though I do find it on the simple, straightforward side.

Can from Market Basket in a mixed 8 pack.
Mostly clear dark pink in color with a huge frothy white head that has hints of pink in it. Lemony nose with tart and sweet cherries and a hint of earthy funk. Mild puckering lemony cherry flavor. Pretty decent kettle sour.

12 ounce can poured into a tulip glass. Canned on 3/9/21.

L---Reddish pink, hazy color. Thin, pinkish head faded immediately to a rim and left ok lacing.

S---Fairly weak aroma. Pretty much just black cherry.

T---Black cherry. Sour/tart is there as well.

F---Light & refreshing. Moderate/minimal carbonation.

O---A bit of a one-trick pony (black cherry). Not very complex, but refreshing.

Canned 3/10/21

This is yet another beer that I picked up as part of their new mixed sour pack over the weekend for a party. I held on to one of these to review. I recall it being pretty good but it was a rough weekend so we’ll see how it holds up in a real review

Pours a cloudy reddish purple with a finger of white head that quickly fades to a thin ring and leaves minimal lacing

The aroma here is pretty much identical to the raspberry one I had yesterday, but not quite as good. I’m picking up on aromas of subtle overripe cherry, lemon, light coriander, and doughy malt

Luckily the taste here is better, with quite a bit more cherry coming through. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting tart black cherry, orange juice, bready malt, and general lactic tartness. The swallow brings notes of slightly sweeter black cherry, lemon juice, crackery malt, and light cranberry

A light body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a slightly sticky yet still refreshing beer. Finishes off dry with the lingering tartness keeping it from becoming too heavy

This was pretty good, but not worth actively seeking out. As with the raspberry one it’s better as just a casual sipper and not contemplative drinking
