Notes from the brewery: "Our Winter Ale aged in Oak Bourbon Barrels with Brettanomyces."
Had on tap at Pocos in Portsmouth.
Dark mahogany reddish brown colored beer with no real head.
Nose nice wild funky brett, light oak, light tart funk light sour malts, bit of darker toasty malts
Taste has quite a sour tart funk and brett, wild funky dry brett, reddish malts, toasty, light bitter earthy flavor combined with a nice wild funk
Mouth is med bodied with dec carb surprisingly as there was no head.
Drink its decent, some wild funk that is tolerable, dry finish, little sticky
