One of two "special" beers brewed for the São Paulo location, Itaim is named after the business district which lays nearby. On-tap at the brewery, on to the beer:

A big billowy head caps this light orange beer, while in the body lively bubbles run to the top. Not only a good look, but good lacing is provided as well. Not quite with the aroma though. I smell sweet and musty house yeast in my pale ale. Vague grass and bubblegum come noticed. Itaim doesn't quite get my juices flowing. Mediocrity again at the brewery. Not as squeaky clean per style. There are grassy and notes of lemon tasted. But the beer is smooth in body and has a light/medium body.

From their branch in São Paulo, Brazil. Out of the maturing tank...as always harder to beat.
Golden color (not really amber) with a thick head with good retention and leaving good laces.
Aroma is light but nice and with a good choice of hops, going towards an American Pale Ale. Notes of passion fruit, mild spices and some papaya.
Citrusy flavor with notes of papaya with lemon drops, apple puree, yeast, herbal hops, fresh oranges and just a hint of muffled cocoa and pine. Dry aftertaste with a medium bitterness.
Light body with appropriate carbonation.
I found this a light session APA, but that had the right notes I crave for at a fair extension. Off course I would like to have seen more hops, body and spices, but given the crowd profile, this beer plays an important role of opening the doors to other craft beers. They are now fine tuning the recipe (or tuning it up), I am curious to prove the evolution. I found this one and the Brune their best offerings.
