Enjoyed this on tap while taking a break from shopping with my wife.
A - Served in a chalice, pours a nice ruby red colour, finger of head with some retention and nice sheeting lacing.
S - A spicy aroma with hints of cinnamon and cloves, a nice citrus hop profile and a butter caramel finish.
T - Much like the nose with the citrus hop profile dominating, spiciness of cinnamon and vanilla notes, the buttery caramel coming through with a sour citrus flavour lingering on the finish.
M - Medium bodied, hint of ABV heat and a touch of dryness on the finish.
O - A tasty winter warmer well worth seeking out, and dangerously drinkable at 9% ABV. Glad I ordered this one.
