Drinking this while watching march madness, poured into a large iced Pilsner glass, tastes good, but the mouth feel as it warms is different, smells nice and an ok beer for a Sunday. I would recommend in a cold Pilsner glass and while sitting in the couch in air conditioning

Appearance - The beer was golden yellow with visible carbonation. It was easy to see through.
Smell - The nose was grassy with a note of sweetness.
Taste - At the front, the hops gave a pleasant grassy profile that was not overly bitter. It was followed by a cracker mulled dry aftertaste that instantly sopped up any sweetness. This checked all the boxes.
Mouthfeel - With a light body, the body Was easy drinking.
Overall - It’s not a popular style, but this is well done.

Another selection from the laughable trip to SLC (from a professional perspective) where the beer was better than the "problematic'' hand wringing from the usual suspects. Damn that Nancy Black was fine though.
Anyhoo, a trip to the pub, felt very "chainy" like BJ's or whatnot but with weird you must order food rules. Thanks government! We worship you! Pours yellow. Has the beer look. Slight chill haze, 1/2" white head, average retention. I liked the light cracker pilsner aroma alongside a discernable lager yeast with a hit of sulphur. Hi point, and not the firearm.
The taste is the pilsner adventure, continuing light pilsner grain barley feels, light hopping, lemongrass influence to it. You call it floral. Its all good. A little heavier mouthfeel without the snappiness. Bring it dry boys. All around a decent beer though. Probably would have bought cans if they had them. Weird back room for to go purchases, Utah has all the rainbow word bank in the DA office display, but let's get beer moving forward first.

Review #1,700.
16.9oz bottled 6/6/24, purchased at the brewery and opened 7/14/24.
1+ inch of white head with very good retention. Straw gold with excellent clarity. Good showing of lace.
Spicy hops - hay, some clay, and a light hit of sulfur.
Grassy, spicy, floral hops on a lightly sweet malt base.
Light body, medium carbonation with a close to crisp mouthfeel. Clean finish, a quaffable and flavorful Pilsner.
Very Good.

Solid German-style Pilsner. Light and crisp as one would want from a pilsner, full body enough with a hop flavor to enjoy with a 5.5% AVB that is right on target for a good pilsner too.

much lighter in both color and body than their golden halo, but a little basic for me, not quite as flavorful, and even though its dry, well carbonated, refreshing, and highly drinkable, its just a little bit boring at the same time. the pils malt is there, its fresh and crackery here, earthy and with a light doughy thing going on with it. the noble hops are also obvious, but more bitter than flavorful, with just a little bit of a green grass freshness at the end. the lager yeast is minimal in flavor but efficient in its work here, just a light german lager complexion to the taste, but this ends up mighty crisp, snappy at the finish and very quenching. super light for those who prefer them that way, for me, its all a bit predictable and even bland, and much as i dig the mouthfeel. this was nice as an afternoon beer and as a working beer, a good one to slug down when its ice cold, satisfying in that way, but when i get into it a little deeper, there isnt a whole lot going on here. cool to get to drink some red rock brews this holiday season, its been way too long!

[Original rating 2014-10-24] Pours clear gold with a thick white head. Fine carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass. Aroma is malt, a little grass and straw. Taste is bready, malty. Nice bitter finish. An excellent pilsener, Red Rock nailed this one. I don’t normally drink pilseners because I’m addicted to hops but I’m glad I tried this one, it takes me back.

It looks absolutely beautiful in the glass - a perfect, classic clear pilsner look. I couldn't imagine a better-looking pilsner. The taste is quite smooth, though it does have just a bit of a hoppy bite to it, more-so than your average pils. That said, it didn't bother me, and I'm not one that cares too much about being "true to style". It was incredibly drinkable and satisfying, I have no complaints. An all-around excellent somewhat hoppy pilsner.

I liked this beer but I didn't view it as a pilsner. In my not so informed opinion it wasn't crisp and clean enough. My taste buds sensed a little funk and slight banana so I kinda thought I was having a Belgian beer. Perhaps I'll call this a Belgian Pils.
