Purchased at local grocer for $2
Canned 4.12.23
Poured at fridge temp into a trumpet Pils glass.
Pours very pale straw yellow with a 2F head, fairly generous lacing left behind, settled into a thin ring. 4
Bready, but not fresh bread, more dark and crust, and very clear and present noble hop spice. 4
White bread, medium crust, noble hops and earthy near honey like sweetness. 4
Pleasantly carbo'd lingering hops and very drinkable. 4
Overall sticking to my initial rating of a solid 4/5 from ages ago, but the noble hops are excellent in this one. Also love the label redesign and subtle bee/honeycomb in there too. 4

Clear deep amber with lovely foam in the wine glass. Super sudsy mouthfeel. Tangy with a malty taste, earthy grain notes, and an herbal finish. A distinct bitter aftertaste that goes well with the sweet malt to start. Red Rock actually calls this a German Style Pilsner, maybe to give the supermarket shopper a clue. I'm not convinced this is any more of a Zwickel than a Pilsner, but it tastes Germanic enough and is highly drinkable. From the 16 oz can purchased at Emigration Market in the four pack.

500 ml bottle from Harmon's. Pours hazy gold with a thick fine white head. Aroma: not much on the nose, but I get pilsner malt, some light pilsner hops. Taste: pilsner malt, biscuit, light citrus. Not bad but nothing special.

The first of this style I’ve had. By far my favorite and a go-to. Way too good.

appearence is hazy golden with a thin head and nice lacing the smell is bready and skunk in a good way taste is abundant with European malt with some hops detectable and a little sour from yeart overall this is exemplary of a drinkable ccraft , drinkable yet interesting. would highly reccomend for seessioning (note: backspace broken, sorry for rampant typos)
Having another taste here, it's far less hazy and I'm not sure if that's from the bottle sitting a while in a fridge or a change in recipe, seems much clearer and cleaner. Still good though

Very malty, somewhat hoppy, yeasty (as expected for the style), highly drinkable, delicious and satisfying. Simply one of the tastiest, most drinkable beers around, and at 4% it's easy to indulge with little issue.
A gold medal winner at the GABF and for good reason.
