This fresh, whole leaf hop beer, is only brewed once a year, less than a week after the hops are harvested in the fields of Yakima Valley, Washington.

All whole leaf Amarillo Hops are used in the brewing process, using almost 32 lbs. per batch, then more are added post-fermentation for a very floral, somewhat citrus like aroma and flavor. Malt character and body is medium, in this unfiltered beer.

Pours a very nice hazy golden orange color, nice carbonation, nice one-finger creamy white head, with some thick creamy sticky lacing left behind. The nose is hoppy, very slight malt note, slight citrus. The taste is hoppy, bitter, slightly malty/sweet. Nice little citrus note. Medium body, nice little bitter/dry finish. Drinkable, a pretty tasty little brew. Probably the best I've ever had on-tap here.
