Delicate-Crisp-Bready: Hailing from Cologne (Köln) Germany, the Kölsch style is classified as a top-fermented lager. This means ale yeast is used for fermentation, but the beer is then cold conditioned (lagered) for a smooth character. Kölsch is an appellation in Germany protected by the Kölsch Konvention (1986). There are only about 20 breweries in the Köln area that are legally allowed to brew Kölsch throughout Germany. This doesn't extend to the United States, of course, so we have created our own version for your drinking pleasure.

This light-hearted kölsch has a mildly peachy and floral aroma. The body is a soft opaque gold with a gentle white head. It is mildly fruity and wheaty and goes down quite easily.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
