On tap at Mountains Brew Fest.Hazy golden pour, thin white head. Mild hoppy aroma, tropical notes. Taste continues with the hops, but more emphasis and citrusy flavors with a light floral presence.

16oz can
Canned on 6.19.23
Poured at fridge temp into a weizen glass
Pours a very clear golden with a fluffy and foamy white head that leaves a wavy fuller lacing and settled into a fine persistent head. 4
Green grassiness and bright citrus meet together on the nose. Definitely get the lemongrass body accompanied by the pineapple tart pungent bite. 4
Earthy nearing dank hop forward, that Idaho 7 really shines here. Some grainy cereals that remind me of other beloved local Pils and touch of sweet cheerio like finish. 4.25
Ultra refreshing and crushable, pleasantly light body without feeling watery. 4
Overall a grand slam of a new beer from Red Rock that will absolutely grace my fridge from here on forward. 4

despite the name this is not actually made with potatoes (would be cool if it was), but is instead a dry hopped pils employing idaho grown malt and hops. its flavorful, modern, and fresh, quite hoppy, probably idaho 7 hops, very well refined, vibrant, and drinkable, a nice one for summer and pretty cool for a utah brewery to do an idaho thing like this. for being unfiltered its pretty shiny and golden, not hazy at all, and holding an inch of airy white head, nice looking brew. it smells of lemon curd, light green onion, weed gummies, and light spiciness, not totally abandoning some noble notes but definitely kicking up the citrus and dankness, i love the hops on this, especially on such a light grain base. the lager yeast is there subtly, the grain is dry cereal and trace floral honey to me, and the whole thing is fresh and cohesive. herbal up front from the hops which are through this but always changing into something else, definite lemon zest, a tangerine note, dried flower aspects to the back end, low bitterness but not none, the hops outlast the rest of it even though its on the dry side, so its not totally crisp, but the yeast is clean in here and the cold lagering is evident in the texture still. the hops have some oils which i like, pleasing greenness, and the beer overall is a ripper but also kind of nerdy, great carbonation, high refreshment value, but fully crafty too. one of my favorites from these guys in a long time, modern lager perfect for the season!
