Contract brewed for the Wunderbar Hofbrauhaus in Edmonton, which is a few blocks away from Amber's brewery. The bartender said that it's like their pale ale, with a lower alcohol content.
This pint appears a slightly hazy medium copper colour, with one finger of soapy white head. It smells of sweet fruity malt. The taste is light biscuit malt, some light orchard fruit, and really faint noble hops. The carbonation is quite low, the body a bit south of medium in weight, and a little creamy. It finishes off-dry, the fruity grain essence remaining a constant throughout.
A pretty decent light ale, which does an adequate job of living up to its moniker.
