Slightly hazy amber in the nonic with a fine foamy cap.
Warm and surprisingly malty. Fairly bitter up front and through to the aftertaste. Nice resiny taste with a longer-lasting carbonation than a lot of tap beers. Interesting ending of something vegetal like celery. It's the really leafy variety of hop flavor. A flavorful mouthful and makes for a very drinkable pint. Rich flavor and tastes stronger than it is.
On tap at the Desert Edge brewpub in Trolley Square. Nice tapered glass instead of the usual shaker.
