This was the least busy brewpub I have been to in an evening. I have no idea why that is. They are the new guys in town, but the beer is (I think) the best in SLC if not the best in Utah. The brewer has really learned to work with the 3.2% limit to create very flavorful and true-to-style beers. I say let’s get more folks in there to keep this beer flowing.

A bit dark and dingy inside, but the quality of the beer (for Utah) made up for it. Friendly service, and not nearly as crowded as Red Rocks or Squatters. The bartenders were fairly knowledgeable and did enjoy their beer, and admitted living in Utah is pretty horrible for a beer lover. I would have to agree. This is the type of brewpub that would make excellent beer if they weren't limited by the 3.2 ABW law. Need more malt! I feel sorry for the brewmaster.
