2006 Edition. Pours a black in color, nice carbonation, nice head, and some nice lacing afterwards. Scents of malts, coffee/chocolate, and slight yeast. The taste is of sweet/malty, with a nice coffee/chocolate taste, nice clean finish. Medium body. Very drinkable. A very nice Black Beer, unfortunately only available on tap. Would recommend.

Sampled on draft at Uinta's attached taproom.
Limited offering.
Beer is pitch black in the glass with not much white head
Aroma is low almost not there with a nutty roasted tone and just a touch of caramel.
Flavor is rich and creamy on first blush with a toasted buttered nut flavor.
The finish is dominated by a roasted black malt finish. Hops added a lingering spice that continues on the tongue.
Hops grow as time passes. Interesting.
