This beer pours a distinctly golden color with just a slight head that falls to ring the beer. The nose is odd. Not what I was expecting. Its very grainey and earthy, with hints of some spiceyness from the yeast. The taste is exactly what the nose tells me. I don't know what I'm tasting but I am not a big fan of it. The beer is moderate to thick, a nice body for a Utah beer. The drinkability is okay. The flavor puts me off just a little. This is a smooth offering. I wish I could try it again just to get another taste of it.
