Found this in NC recently..I've always been a fan of this style and feel lucky to have found a recently retired brew.
Pours a nice amber and has good retention. Tasty with a nice hint of cucumber up front and on the back end..My bottle says 7.5% so this bomber did it's best to "pickle" me..Good find.

Good looking pour from the tap. Has a amber tint with a white head that disappears quickly. Can't pickup the cucumber from smell but definitely taste. It's a little sweeter than expected. All in all its refreshing.

First had poured into clear plastic camping Pilsner glass from 22-oz. bomber, gift from a friend, on canoe trip. Possibly influenced by locale, but seemed the perfect beverage for any lover of saisons and TNTs.

From the 22 oz bottle in a snifter. This unique brew pours a lightly hazy
amber tinged hay color with a very nice head of white foam that settles
to a thick ring, thin layer, and features nice light lacing. Nose of curring
cucumbers in brine---more specifically the "scum" that you spoon off of a
batch of cukes in a crock with light herbal. Flavors follow and lightly exceed
with brine youched cukes and floral gin notes melding with light floral hops.
Excellent mouth feel; lightly dry, medium carbonation, and crisp with a light
funky yeast note laden with hot house cuke rind.....the most bitter part.
Overall it is decent, yet having made pickles with my mother for many years
and tasted them in all forms of curing I can attest that this is not what most
country folks would appreciate, perhaps the more yuppie among us might
like it, but to one who loves pickles this is one that has not reached it's
potential akin to a under cured lime or sour pickle.

From a 22 ounce bomber, this one is memorable. It's fizzy, hazy, golden, and lively. the aroma is intense and unusual...cucumber, grain, a hint of malt, twang, and a little funk. Interesting. The taste is of melon, cucumber, and a little funky bitterness. It comes together really well. My wife once had a cucumber mojito, and this was similar in taste....refreshing, different, and interesting. Well done.
