Slight hints of coriander partner perfectly with Sterling and Opal Hops to set off this sessionable Gluten-Free Ale.

Pours a hazy gold color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Slight retention and poor lacing. Smells of slight sweet malt, spicy hops, pale malt, grass, hint of spice, and grain. Fits the style of a Belgian Pale Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of slight sweet malt, spicy hops, pale malt, grass, hint of spice, and grain. Overall, weak appearance, but otherwise one of the better Gluten-free beers I've ever tried.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 6/23/2017. Pours fairly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger foamy white head with decent retention, that reduces to a light spotty lace cap that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass. Good appearance. Aromas of lemon, lime, orange peel, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, coriander, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, lightly toasted bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, lime, orange peel, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, coriander, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, lightly toasted bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate yeast spiciness, herbal bitterness, and light tart/tangy buckwheat notes on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, lime, orange peel, pear, apple, white grape, coriander, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, lightly toasted bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitter/spiciness balance. Slight lingering bitter/spicy astringency, but not overwhelming. Light-moderate dryness from bitter/spiciness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is good. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a very solid Belgian pale ale. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Very well made for a true gluten free beer, and fits the style. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Slightly hazy pale gold with lower carbonation. Smells like unripe pear, with some unfamiliar malt and yeast notes. The taste is somewhat similar to a bad American light lager. Definitely not something I would buy again. There's got to be a good gluten free beer out there. Sadly, this is not it.

looks light golden color. with very little carbonation. No head and no lacing. just a small carbonation ring around the edge.
smell was very mild. slight fruit notes kind of a grassy pear.
taste was bit of a let down. has a light lager type taste. Much like keystone light with a touch of fruitiness. Can't taste any alcohol, and since it doesn't say a % on the bottle not sure there is any in it. Most Belgians I let warm a little. This one should be drank ice cold to mask everything else.
feel was light and easy to drink. very underwhelming.
Overall I was excited for a Belgian-style gluten free ale because my wide loves Belgians but has gluten intolerance. However this tasted noting like any Belgian blonde ales I've ever had. It was about as Belgian as Keystone or Coors (neither of which I like). Even if it is gluten free it is not worth the price as you would be better off adding a slice of pear to your American lager as it would probably be better.

Pours an effervescent gold with fast falling pearl colored head. No head retention or lacing
S: Yeasty, grassy, & white pepper
T: Bready, dry, pear & white grapes up front. Grassyness & pear as this warms. Finishes dry & grassy
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation
Drinks alright but nothing special here
