[Original rating 2018-03-10] 750ml bottle from the brewery store. Bottled on 01/14/17. Pours cloudy gold with a thick coarse head. Aroma of brett, funk, black pepper, band-aid. Taste is brett, band-aid. This is turned, or it was a bad batch. I should have checked the date but since I got it from the brewery store I assumed they only had fresh beer in the case.

Over a year in the bottle, was hard extract the cork, but opened with a mighty pop!
Pours an effervescent & bright bronze with 2 fingers of fluffy ivory colored head. Stellar lacing & head retention
S: Grassy, barnyard
T: Follows the nose, bready sweetness, grapefruit, plenty of Brett upfront. Dryness, bready sweetness. pears, white grapes, & more Brett funks as this warms, some grapefruit & a little mango too. Finishes with tropical fruit, grapefruit, Brett sourness, a little dryness
MF: Medium body, delicate carbonation, nice balance
What a well puttogether Brett IPA

The wild fermentation character of Uinta isn't the only part of their brewery that's experimenting and pushing boundaries. Their hops program is dong the same. The fusion of wild yeast fermetae along with new and exciting hops is taking the brewery to new heights.
Hopscursion #2 kicks off with a deeply aromatic blend of Denali, Mosaic, Simcoe and Cascade varietals that bring a boost of tropical, citrus, spruce and grassy pungency to an already funk filled nose. Earthy with pepper, hay, cork and weathered oak, the aromas soon give way to a scant sweetness of honey and caramel that greet the early palate briefly and then waft away.
Malt structures remain, however to support the billowing hop flavor to come. Pink grapefruit, lemon and ripened orange rise along with the tropical influence of pineapple, kiwi and mango to enrich the middle palate. While the mustiness of fermentation take a back seat to hops, the finish brings a firm bitterness of pine, grass and a curious suggestion of cannabis. Balsa, cork and cashew bring a musty tone that seems of wine and funk as the taste subsides.
Medium bodied and dry with an overall arid tone, the beer's hops, moderate alcohol spice and woodsy impressions from wild yeast all suggest a lighter and more easily drinkable session. A brief echo of burlap and leather elapse while the spicy bitterness of hops register late on the after palate.
