A - Deep copper cored pour with a slight bit of haze and a thin layer of cream lacing.
S - Lightly toasted caramel malt base with a little bit of citrus and noticeable pine presence.
T - Toasted caramel from start to finish with pine surfacing midway through and building momentum to scrub away the malt sweetness.

O - An easy drinking classic.

Poured from 12oz can into the wrong kind of beer mug. Great amber color and good head with active lacing.
>> I thought that it would go with my food but this beer kind of fought it instead. It is a refreshing lighter offering with some West Cost character (hops mostly). It has a good backbone to it, and it had a sweeter side too. I really liked the aftertaste after drink this.
I would buy this again, just not to eat with a meal. I believe this is a local offering for the Utah region which I was visiting.
Refreshing, is how I would describe this.

On tap. Pours a clear amber color with foamy cream head. Floral hop aroma. Medium body. Caramel malt flavor with a lightly bitter pine finish. Very good

Gifted from a friend who knows I'm a sucker for anything with a trout on it.
Great medium amber classic pale ale color topped with a tenacious white head.
Solid malt sweetness in the nose - rich caramel notes with sharp conifer and cut grass hop spice.
Flavor reflects the nose with well balanced malt- hop interplay. Light toffee and pine pitch flavors, fresh cracked grain character.
A bit thin in body but still a satisfying pale ale drinking experience.

Nice dark orange, white head some nice lacing, piney aroma and flavor. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated. Lotsa flavor for 5%. Worked well in the high heat on vacation this week. Wish i had it at home.

Darker amber, for the style, with a khaki head receding to a persistent blanket leaving coral, webby lacing.
While serviceable, it's a bit bolder in toasty malt than I'd want for the style, and also punchier, with a piney, catty bitter dankness.
The medium body has a firm carbonation and finishes semi-dry.

Drinkable, but more pale than site for my tastes. Somewhat of an absence of character.

Canned on 5/28/20 and poured into a Teku.
Pours an off-white head, about an inch tall. The color is a dark orange, fading into a light amber around the edges of the glass. The head quickly dissipates and hangs around the rim.
The smell is sweet, malty bread with more subtle hop notes of the piney, herbal variety in the background. My first impression is that this beer balances its hops and malts well.
The taste follows the nose. Starts off with some sweet malty flavors before a bitter hop finish. The hop flavor seems muted for me but it may be due to the 3+ month age. Still, the taste approaches that of a West Coast IPA while staying balanced by the sweetness from the malts.
Mouthfeel is very smooth. The light carbonation brings a little bite to it.
A well-balanced and smooth pale ale that satisfies cravings for a less hoppy offering. I would drink this beer again.
