Pours with a slightly hazy golden hue, medium head. Slightly tart / bitter on back of tongue, accompanied by a mild sweetness and absolutely perfect level of carbonation and crispness. It only gets better the more you get acquainted with this fine Belgian ale. You'll begin craving after the second pour, perhaps sooner!

Can. Pours clear deep gold with almost no head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, spices, clove, a hint of alcohol. Taste is sweet, spices and clove. Too sweet for me.

A-pours a hazy orange color with a white head with average retention
S-sweet malt, subtle spice, no hop aroma
T-lots of sweet malt and honey, clove, spice in the finish
M-medium bodied with above average carbonation
O-not a bad bpa, but definitely on the sweeter side with the honey adding quite a bit of sweetness

Clear light gold color with good cap and lacing.
Aroma of caramel grain, clove and honey.
Taste is a complex mixture of deep honeyed grain, ripe yellow fruit, spices such as clove and cardamom, all of which give a sense of both savory and sweet. Little hop presence that I can detect with the balancing prickle coming mainly from carbonation. No hint of alcohol but at 8.5% it's certainly in there.
Medium full texture with balancing carbonation.
My first impression was Belgian Tripel and by the end of the glass that was still my impression. This is a well crafted characterful brew that advances to the head of the class.

Clear golden yellow brew with a modest white foam in the Pilsner glass. Smooth and mellow with a surprising honey taste. Juicy with a touch of orange and dried pear. Aroma, as it warms, is spice and fruit.
It's sweet and grainy with the honey zing. Gradually the distinct Belgian yeasty taste comes on. It's almost a Tripel from then on with the sweet, hot, spicy taste laced with clove. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station in Wash.
