Very Good
Clear DazeClear Daze
Notes: What you see (through) isn’t always what you get in this mirage of a
juicy IPA. Clear Daze is clearly haze-free, but loaded with massive hop
aromatics including pineapple, mango and passionfruit, all leading to a silky-soft mouthfeel and lingering, sweet finish.

I see this as a west coast haze meets german lager. If you are looking for a hazy that has a bit of 'clearness' to it this may be a good choice. a rather unique beer style imo and something that I did enjoy. However I almost taste Grolsch in the brew which is a bit of a turnoff as I am not one for the skunkiness. Overall its drinkable and not as heavy as a normal haze but not quite satisfying. Not easy to categorize and hits all areas with an average score

LOOK - - - nice and hazy - decent amount of foam and decent head retention - orange/brown in color
SMELL - - - decent amount of tropical fruit and orange/citrus
TASTE - - - a punch of mango, pineapple, and grapefruit - some bread, cracker, yeast, and lightly roasted malt comes through - quite flavorful
FEEL - - - medium bodied - nice creamy and slick/oily mouthfeel - a touch more carbo would be good though
OVERALL - - - enjoyable IPA - nice fruit flavor here - if you are a person that doesn't like the bitterness but enjoy hop flavor, this is one to try - I can see myself pick up a couple once in awhile - decent

Can into pint glass. Pours a clear light amber with a brief off-white head. Initial impression is tropical fruits (subdued orange, pineapple, and mango) and a touch of pine, all nicely arranged on a caramel backbone. Mouthfeel is medium, as is carbonation. Finish is slightly sweet and not at all bitter. Overall, OK but not spectacular.

12 oz can from Boise Co-op. Deep golden body, light haze, small creamy head. Musty, grassy aroma with faint grapefruit peel notes. Taste has the citrus more pronounced , a bit dry, touch of sweetness.

12oz can poured into, ahh screw it. Y'all don't care what glass I use, and this beer isn't really worth my time of typing my regular review. It's an average, murky orange, frooty hop, low grain brew. It's just average. Not a waste of time, but not worth seeking out.

Pours a nearly clear amber color with lots of foam in the New Belgium snifter. Luscious frothy mouthfeel. Pleasant citrusy aroma. Tastes of white grapes and orange with a woodsy finish. Not acidic but nicely enhanced with citrus peel flavors.

Fairly sweet with just a touch of the astringency that often overpowers these juice bombs. Overall this is very drinkable and full of flavor. It would be so good if only they could dial it down to 4 percent for the Utah supermarket sales and still keep some of the juicy flavors. From the 12 oz can purchased in northwest Wash.

12 oz. can - Canned on 6/11/19:

Pours slightly hazed golden amber with a foamy white head. Trailing lace sticks.

The smell is of tropical fruits, berries and a light hop spice.

The taste is of tropical fruits with a touch of red berries. Light spice mixes with a fruit, relatively dry, rather soft, finish.

It has a juicy character. Lighter/softer body and texture for an IPA, but it works. Easy to drink.

A nice fruity, slightly spicy, hoppy but balanced IPA. It is not aggressive at all. An American IPA with a NE influence (in the juiciness). Pleasant.

12 oz. Can
BEST BEFORE: 08/30/19

Poured into a tulip glass a pretty nice hazy pale yellow/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, mango, pineapple, passionfruit), some nice pine/diesel. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, mango, pineapple, passionfruit), some nice pine/diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden pretty nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew. A nice thirst quencher.

Clear Daze has a medium, off-white head, an opaque, bubbly, orange-gold appearance, and fairly heavy glass lacing. The aroma is of stone fruits and white bread crust. The flavor is similar, with nominal bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, and Clear Daze finishes medium dry.

This is a good beer but I don’t like the fact they’re calling it a hazy because it’s really more of an unfiltered hoppy pale ale, or a session IPA. But whatever.

Looks: not that hazy. Darker orange color and semi-opaque. No major head.

Nose: hop juiciness. Not overwhelming and no specific fruits for me.

Tongue: tasty mix of stone fruit hops with melon and some layers of bitterness but never very bitter. Tame.

Feel: soft but finishes dry. A little flat to me.

Overall: tasty. I’d love it fresh in a can outside. It’s not a “real” hazy in my opinion.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewing Co pint glass

A: Pours crystal clear golden copper amber with a frothy light tan head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little thin lacing.

S: Zesty citrus and ripe tropical and orchard fruit, floral, slight herbal notes, bready malt, and caramel sweetness.

T: Citrus, lemon, grapefruit, and tangerine, tropical and orchard fruit, mango, pineapple, papaya, apricot, peach, pear, and a touch of melon, earthy slightly spicy herbal notes, floral, a hint of pine, bready malt, and caramel sweetness.

M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly soft on the palate.

O: Between how clear it is and the backing bitterness it's tough to call this a true NE style, more just influenced by it. But it's pretty nicely balanced and overall quite enjoyable, though not my favorite hoppy beer from them.

There best by date of 5/18/19 which let's me know i'm within range. The can artwork is a beauty to look at, it showcases a great use of color. The pour is light to medium orange, but it's not hazy like you would expect within this style. It's not as aromatic as others that I have had within the style but I am picking up some citrus zest. On the taste, I'm getting some citrus, slight floral, slight passion fruit, faint mango, faint papaya, very slight pine on the finish & the taste is juicy. This is quite a tasty IPA although it does not really look the part of taste the part of a traditional New England IPA. This is a great beer for someone who wants to transition from lagers & blond ales into some pale ales & IPA's. This is there first take on a style that is strange to them so we ought to give Uinta the benefit of the doubt because they are quite a consistent brewery that is also environmental conscious. I'm still relatively new to the New England Style IPA so these scores might be altered by me in the near future so anyways, Cheers! B

Best before 6/19/19. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with nice clarity; fluffy white head that fades leaving nice retention and lacing. The aromas have hints of tropical and floral notes. Some hints of coconut. Some fresh grass. Some crackers and bread. Malts are there. The flavors basically follow the nose for the most part. More hints of coconut along with some grapefruit. More crackers and bread. More fresh grass. Moderate bitterness. Malts do their thing. It finishes on the juicier side, but nothing over the top. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's on the lighter side of medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a solid IPA. It's definitely not a "New England IPA" though. It's refreshing, clean and enjoyable. It might not be anything crazy, but it's not bad.

i thought this was pretty good, they did something unique with it, which is to say whats old has become new again, in that they made a dry hopped juice forward hoppy beer thats clear, like a clear new england, which without much bitterness is basically what we used to call west coast pale, but i kind of like what they did with the naming of it, makes it seem modern while the beer in the can is actually quite classic. clear but somewhat dense looking with a very thick white head with great retention in the glass. lots of bubbles too. the aroma is pineapple and citrus, very clean and very fresh, with a oily character from the hops, high lupulin, melon notes in the flavor and some kiwi too, but also a quick pine blast, a neat mix of hop varietals quite liberally dosed. lots of body for what it is, but not a ton of grain flavor, and its nice and dry all the way through, which keeps it drinkable. boldly hoppy, and a long linger after the swallow, but its lower alpha than it seems like it should be, more fruity than anything, and refreshing even when its cold from the fridge, warms up nicely too though, even a subtle red berry note to it. cool beer overall, style-wise its not radical, but its like tricking people into thinking this is something new, and really its just classic. very enjoyable can.

12 oz can, best by 5/18/19. Pours slightly hazy orange gold with a medium creamy white head that quickly goes to a thin head that leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet fruity hops with a little piney resin.

The flavor is sweet tropical fruit and bready malt with some ashy bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a little thin.

Overall, just OK.

Poured vigorously from can into a tall pilsner glass.

Nice honey-gold coloring with a two-finger head and good lacing.

Fragrant, citrus-y aroma that's strong but subtle.

Juicy, tropical hop notes with a muted but sweet malt presence.

Don't always drink Uinta but this is one of my favorites so far.
