12oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear amber pour, fizzy head. Light pumpkin aroma and a hint of pie spice. Taste follows with more pumpkin flavors, pie spice providing minor notes in the background. Dry finish. Seems thin.

12oz can, canned in July….?
Pours two fingers of white head into my can-style glass. Retention is average and the head fades in a few minutes, leaving a nice little film. Lacing is mostly nonexistent with the exception of a few suds. Body is a dark copper, high clarity, with a considerable amount of bubbles coming up.
Nose is pretty straight forward, which I’ve come to find is a good thing with this style. Malty with some cinnamon and pumpkin notes. On the sweeter side, but doesn’t smell gross. Slightly artificial, but overall not a bad nose.
The flavor is very odd. Starts out with an earthy pumpkin that lingers in a subtle way, finishes pretty watery. This is largely flavorless.
Mouthfeel doesn’t help, there is a mineral quality to this, as well as a thin body that just adds to the watery character. Carbonation is medium-low. Sweetness is low-moderate, and pretty palatable. Bitterness is not really perceptible. Overall the mouthfeel is ok I guess.
Drinkability isn’t horrible, there is nothing offensive, but certainly somewhat boring.
Overall just super lackluster.

Had this on draft at the brewery.

D: nice feel and taste combo; solid overall

L - Amber with a ton of clarity with a light tan head that dissipates quickly leaving behind minimal lacing
S - Fresh pumpkin along with fall spices - some cinnamon and nutmeg - and some bready yeast
T - Pumpkin and fall spices up front and throughout along with some bready yeast and malt and hints of wheat but leaves behind a somewhat metallic aftertaste and overall the flavors aren't terribly pronounced.
F - Light to medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation - maybe a little too thin
O - It's ok. There's tons of better options out there for the style

Pumpkin Ale
Uinta Brewery
Has a best before the date of 15 August 2021, which makes no sense to me. This beer is new.
Tis the season for the gourd, my first pumpkin beer this fall. I used a tulip glass; the temperature was 42 degrees. A frothy off-white head with poor retention. The quick dissipation left some lacing on the glass. The color charts around SRM 15, deep amber with rusty orange hues. The beer has clarity and a few carbonation bubbles.
Light baking spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves); are the most pungent aromas in the beer. Next, a whiff of bread, pumpkin, floral, and subtle brown sugar. The nose on this beer is disappointing.
Cinamon and pumpkin are dominant flavors on the palate. Next, I taste bread, toasted malts, nutmeg, brown sugar, and floral. The beer flavors are just meh. When I get a pumpkin beer, I want the pumpkin and baking spice on the forefront of the palate, followed by bready and toasted malts.
The mouthfeel is thin and watery. The body of the beer is light, medium carbonation, and blah finish.
A sad beer; Uinta Brewing puts out much better beers.

Copper colored with a fingernail of off-white on top. I smell pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The taste is of pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, and cinnamon. The mouth is light, crisp, and refreshing.

Finishing a 6pk of 12oz cans: more of a pumpkin lager (crisp & dry) than an ale; smelling & tasting more of the gourd than the pie. Its kind of grown on me (5/6pk) over time, but I won't be doing it again.

On-draft in Meridian ID; tis the season so when in Rome...comes in a shaker glass, mostly clear attractive light gold color with a small, creamy off-white head that laces well...subtle impressions of yammy goodness mixed with light notes of bready caramel...spice is also subtle and not overwhelming...nice graham cracker sweetness as well. Lighter body, hugely drinkable; an enjoyable Pumpkin beer.

Nothing exceptional but very light and nice - runs vegetal, with squash tones and a general mildness of flavor, but hit with spice of clove, ginger, nutmeg or the like... Again, light, easy to drink, drier than most; leaves a little shellac of bitterness behind... Worth a try buy maybe not a return...

Interesting to see the Punk'n branding gone, I wonder if this is a new recipe?
A- Stubby 12oz pours into a snifter with a clear deep amber body and frothy one finger head. The head has pretty good retention and it leaves rare spotty lacing.
S- Simply put, medium spiced pumpkin pie. You get the heavily aromatic spices and the sweetness from the malts and pumpkin in the aroma. Simple and well balanced here. Ginger, clove, toasted malt, caramel, toffee and nutmeg notes.
T- Doesn't quite carry the strength the aroma had and feels a bit diluted/watered down on the whole. Hints of pumpkin pie with ginger, clove and medium toasted grains running the show as well as a touch of pumpkin. A bit of caramel, nutmeg, toffee, bread and pale fruits too.
MF- The body just comes off as a bit too light to be honest. The carbonation is moderately low and the texture is just a bit foamy and frothy. Light bitterness in the finish.
Just a touch light on the flavor and in the body but honestly well balanced without going overboard on the usually too strong spice flavors. Malts and spice and easy to drink.

This is the Fall 2019 version, best before 2/20; this is not labeled as Punk'n Harvest; it is simply Uinta Pumpkin Ale
