12oz bottle (dated 9/16/20) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a solid black color with just under a half-inch of tan head that had decent retention and no lacing.
Mildly sweet bourbon at the front the nose, with some nice base grain and malt notes underneath.
Similar on the tongue, the bourbon is most noticeable but fades after a moment revealing a solid beer that had a slight touch of hop bite on the finish.
The body was fairly typical of the style, perhaps just a touch fuller than average, was smooth, and had a semi-sweet finish.
Drinkability was very good, I foresee the purchase of more of these.
Overall, a very nice brew. Certainly worth your time if you see it.
