Picked up a 6 pack while in SLC with that high mileage recreational use only single mom from that janky government owned liquor store. Match made in heaven. Canning date was less than 60 days so I said we're good to go, or so I thought (ominous music plays).
Pours a slightly cloudy yellow with 1/4" white head that lacks in stature and retention. The aroma is mostly C hop bitterness. I guess it leans more grapefruit rind than it does pine. The juicy branding kind of had me confused, there didn't seem to be anything "juicy" hop aroma wise going on. "We'll let marketing figure that out."
The taste runs much the same way. A lot of bitterness for something called juicy. There's a lot of grapefruit rind, like its super dominating. There isn't the usual flakey edge to the body with wheat or oats. There is a substantial sting of alcohol related to the kind of thin body, which is normally fine, but it kind of burns at the same time, so I dunno about that mouthfeel.

12 oz. Can
Canned On: 06/14/24
Poured into a Tired Hands glass a very nice hazy dark yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger plus white head, which also leaves some very nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, pineapple, grapefruit, mango.), pretty nice pineyness. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, pineapple, mango), pretty nice pineyness. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer.

tasty modern double here without being all hazy and heavy, i like that this drinks bigger like a double in terms of hop intensity and bitterness, even exposed alcohol, but not in terms of body, its light on the grain side, drier than most of these, and really bubbly, so its a more drinkable double, but you still know what you are drinking, way to walk the line there. the hop profile is great, simcoe before others to me, bitter white grapefruit pith and pine sap, bitter the whole time. i get the more grassy side of galaxy, less limey, some weediness to it as well, but maybe not as delicate as it often is. the talus is what makes this interesting, berries and orange to me, clementine, strawberry, maybe white grape too, it really makes this stand out from the crowd. the ferment is clean, the alcohol is warming, and its effervescent. i like the texture a lot, and dont mind the alcohol. one thing though is that there is a little oxidation to this, like its a bit dated, although i didnt see a date on it, it seems to be falling off just a little. even still. this is really solid, a little different from what else is out there in the style, and a beer that can certainly get you there pretty quickly. good effort here.

Clear gold with two fingers of white head. Rings and swathes of lace appear as the levels drop.
Smell is floral hops with bready malts.
Taste is somewhat dank green hops and bready malts.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. The finish is lightly dry and well balanced.
Overall a tasty Double IPA. Canned on 04-10-21.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left some sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of orange, grapefruit, resinous pine and toasted caramel. Sweet orange and grapefruit taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.
