On draft at 44 Canteen. Poured a slightly cloudy, golden yellow color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of pineapple, orange and vanilla. Sweet pineapple taste with wheat, lemon and caramel.

Described as a "Pineapple Orange Mimosa wheatbeer." This sounded intriguing, but...there's an unexpectedly strong hoppiness that masks everything else and left me searching for literally any other flavor. Carbonation is high. There's a bit of earthy, barnyard, ammoniacal aftertaste to it, like a saison. No detectable fruit flavors.

Overall: thoroughly awful. I poured it out after struggling through 1/4 of a can. I was so disappointed I felt compelled to create an account and write my first review after years of using BeerAdvocate.

a pineapple orange mimosa wheat beer, low alcohol and bright for summer, i think a cool offering for this time of year and one that should do exceedingly well for them. lots to like here, but i think the minimal nature of the base beer is central to it, its not really hazy or raw or heavy or anything, its nice and dry on its own before the fruit, fermented clean with out any wit or hefe type esters or anything like that, you can smell and taste the wheat itself, not just generic pale malt, its earthy and even sort of agricultural, unexpected in something like this but it gives it authenticity to me. the pineapple and orange elements are readily identifiable, robust enough to maybe take over a little, but honest enough to approximate the real fruits, for me pineapple in front of orange, juicy, canned, all on the finish, bright on the nose, and both super compatible with the light but forward wheat character. its a little sweet at the end from the fruit, but it doesnt make this heavy or messy to me in the least, high carbonation keeps it light and lively, and the sunny vacation vibes make it almost addicting. good proportions and nice execution overall, a session beer for sure in a style that i often fatigue on quickly, is it summer yet?!
