16oz can from Brewers Haven. Orange golden pour, filmy head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, oranges, rum. Rum and orange peel prominent in the taste, boozy feel, slick. Really love the way all of this works together

delicious, the latest in the pro line series, and one of the best uinta beers ive had in a long time. a big golden strong belgian beer aged in rum barrels, not sure i have seen this style and barrel combination before. sort of an orange color to this underneath the high white head, not sure if its more malt than is common in the style or the barrel treatment doing that, but it is rich in the nose, unrefined sugar from the rum, the boozy, plenty of sweetness, a candy syrup spike likely, hints of orange, overripe melon, tangerine, coriander, and sauternes, unique, sweet, strong, really appealing in a winter beer context. the flavor is remarkably oaky, more wood even than rum, and the rum is bold and identifiable, raisin and molasses notes to it with the alcohol wafts. candied orange, burnt sugar, wet wood, light maple and honey, fusel alcohol intensity, belgian yeast doing its thing, no real spiciness though, more fruit and wine, the rum and the yeast are cool together, and i dont mind the bit of malt fullness to this, adds a cozy winter warmth. the body is medium and the carbonation is almost as high as it needs to be, i like the sweet and the booze this time of year, and how its mellow from the wood but still so vibrant, and the rum is delicious in this mix. unexpected, weird, fantastic. real neat winter beer here!
