Bottled & to be brutally honest I’m expecting this to be like making love in a canoe
Pours a wheat coloured clear body with good white head
Aroma is corn syrup and high class lager
Flavour is tinny & slightly citrus and very dull

A 500ml bottle with a BB of July 2018. ABV is stated as 4.0%. Purchased recently from Morrisons. The label describes it as a very naughty pale ale called Brian - a continuation of Black Sheep's various Monty Python themed brews.
A: Poured into a tulip pint glass. A rich amber colour with good clarity and plentiful carbonation. Forms a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a minute or two before reducing to a patchy surface layer.
S: Aroma of fruity ale yeast with hints of leafy hops, hay, grainy malt, subtle barley sugar and a touch of cardboard in the background. OK but uninspiring.
T: Tastes of fruity ale yeast with notes of grainy malt, mild barley sugar, leafy hops, hay, stewed husks and a twinge of cardboard. Quite dry, followed by a moderate hoppy bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and decent body for the strength. Aftertaste of bitter leafy hops, grainy malt and yeast esters.
O: A fairly average English pale ale with a traditional character. Looks alright, while the aroma and flavour are a mix of ale yeast, leafy English hops and pale malt. Body is OK. Balanced but a bit dull; the best thing about it is the label. Drinkable but no need to hunt it down.
