Interesting new development by Black Sheep plc a Lager. On pouring the look is good golden yellow appearance of a Pilsner with a fine white head. The smell of clean fresh hops. So far so good. Taste - awful barley malt and hops overwhelmed by the soft flavour and taste of wheat - ugh. A review of the label confirmed this. Black Sheep did this to their best selling Black Sheep Ale and ruined that. A proper beer whether Ale or Lager is brewed with Barley, Hops and Yeast and certainly not Wheat. What looked a promising beer was simply spoilt by the overwhelming soft flowery taste of Wheat.
