Bottle courtesy of jale. Served in a mini snifter. Reviewed from notes.
Pours a clear medium brown color with a very thin head and not really any lacing. The nos brings some heavy mint and light coffee. Interesting and inviting. The flavor isn't all that great, having a strange mix of coffee, cream, sugary sweetness, and a medicinal mint. Light body with a very dry finish. Not enough body or underlying character, though it was a nice concept.

12oz bottle courtesy of jale (thanks Jim!), this sat on deck for 3 months waiting for the mood to strike. It's not often I'm in the mood for a spiced beer.
This pours a clear burgandy color, with almost no head at all. Just the barest ring of bubbles at the edges, nearly nonexistent. The mint is really strong in the nose, with chocolate right behind it. If I didn't know better I'd say it was mint chocolate chip ice cream, smells like a Shorts creation. Hard to say that this is inviting in beer terms but they sure nailed the mint.
It tastes minty to the point of being a little medicinal, wow a little of this goes a long way. Slightly sweet, with a long lasting minty aftertaste. The mint is a little overpowering, it's hard for me to get any creme brulee out of this beer.
It was hard to finish this bottle, just way too much minty overload. Glad to try it, but I don't recommend it.
