Kamala Brewing "Brown Sahib"
on tap at the Whip In
Notes: "Flanders style brown ale aged 2 years". Brown body with a limited head of white foam that drops readily (fairly expected for the style). Lacing is almost non-existent. Earthy/musty/dark fruit aroma. Some caramelized sugars. The fruit components never seem to truly express any specific dark fruits, remaining as a composite (not a bad thing). Tart acidity. Residual caramel malt balances it. Quite nice, and perhaps the most easy to enjoy of their sour beers, if not the most complex.
