Served on tap into a tumbler glass.
A- Poured a light hazy golden color with white head that dissipated instantly and left no lace.
S- Candied grapefruit, sweet malts, and quite a bit of alcohol. Overall,. a very faint aroma.
T- Big candied grapefruit, sweet maltiness, some lemon peel, lime, agave, and light vanilla notes. Lots of alcohol taste and very high bitterness.
M- Full bodied, sticky, big warming, and pretty big alcohol burn.
O- Some really nice and unique flavors in this DIPA. I wish the booze and bitterness were dialed down a little so those flavors could shine more, but a creative twist on the style that is worth a try.

A yellowish caramel brown color with a modest off-white cap and fair lacing. The aroma is fairly delicate for a DIPA with floral hop essence over light toffee sweetness. The taste buds get a bigger hit of brown sugar pine hops with some orange citrus bite. There's a grassy edge that erupts a bit in the back of the palate and ushers in a suggestion of lemon and some rye alcohol lurking about. The body is medium-full with a subtle, tiny bubble carbonation giving a slightly fizzy feel but it's more on the heavier side. A solid DIPA

Beer poured beautifully.
The nose really brought out the honey and a little fruity sweetness with the citrusy hop background.
holy grapefruit batman! The first sip was that of a sweet IPA, the honey really shone through (there was almost like a raspberry in there as well?), but subsequent ingestion threw that out the window as i felt like I was spritzing a grapefruit rind into my mouth. Solid IPA background, but too much grapefruit bitter for my taste.
Could be you like it quite a bit. I was whelmed (not overwhelmed or underwhelmed, just whelmed). Probably wouldn't order it again, but that's more about my flavour preferences than it is about the quality of the product
(I BELIEVE it's available year round. I just moved here, and it has been available since I've been in town...)
