LOOK: Clear gold with a short lived foam that recedes rapidly.
SMELL: Stale bread, stale hops, well water. Also smells like corn.
TASTE: Green apple sweetness, a bit of malt and corn. Little to no hop bitterness, finishes sweet. Pretty standard cheap ice lager.
FEEL: Light bodied, light watery carbonation.
OVERALL: Not the best beer, but not terribly offensive. If I were spending a rare evening fishing, I wouldn't mind a cooler of ice packed with a few of these.

Big City Ice
Poured into a glass it's a clear, deep golden color, and when raised to the light it's more of a straw gold. A creamy bright-white head is formed and holds fairly well, leaving behind some surprisingly nice lace.
The aroma is sweetish, but not particularly malty; and no hops can be found - although there is a 'suggestion' of them in the background that gives it a kind of 'generic' "beer" aroma. There's also a touch of something that's obviously coming from a warm fermentation. It's estery, and although it's not really distinct, there's a touch of a solvent-like quality.
In the mouth it's full-medium in body with a distinct dextrinous side. In other words... sugary.
And that follows through in the flavor. It's sugary sweet, with very minimal maltiness. There is some, to be sure, but it's more "in the mix" and not upfront. The hops, however, are totally lacking. And when you put those two things together it becomes out of balance. Even without a fair amount of hop bitterness, some hop flavor would help balance it regardless, but there just isn't any; and I'll be bold, if I may, in suggesting that perhaps a lack of hops is at least partially how they keep the price so low.
Moving forward, it's not a horrid beer, but it's certainly not good. For a beer of just 5.5% abv those solvent-like notes leave it flawed.
