Part of a flight in a 4 ounce mini mug. Arrived with no head. Nice rust color. Taste of malt is the dominant feature of this beer. Enjoyable, smooth drinking red ale.

Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours a fairly clear amber color. There was no head or lacing. It has a lighter aroma. Mainly caramel malts. Anything else? I couldn’t tell. The taste is a bit malty sweet. No hops to speak of. Not well balanced at all.

This beer is quite serviceable, though it's not going to win any beauty awards. No head, lacing, ruddy copper color. I was craving an Oktoberfest to watch a football game with, and this is a nice substitute with the Munich and probably Caramunich malts. About average malt notes on the nose. Big nuttiness, subtly sweet caramel, mild earthiness, and a tad woody. Fairly smooth tasting with a medium body and light carbonation.

A- pours a dark copper, translucent color served with about 1 finger head that lingers for a while but leaves little lacing.
S- Very fresh, sweet caramel malts. Slight hop aroma, also picking up a cherry aroma.
T- Starts off very sweet with a cherry taste, finishes slightly hoppy, but the malt sticks around to balance it out until the end.
M- very light in body for a red lager, but still refreshing with good carbonation.
0- recommended if you are there, would be a lot better with more of a body, but overall decent brew.

Served on tap at the brewery.

Little head quickly fades away to nothing except a small ring around the glass. No lacing on the glass. The aroma stands out on this beer. Sweet munich and other german malts dominate. The taste follows suite with a rich balance of malt and hop. Overall, I am really enjoying this red lager, a style that I don't think I've had in the past. With a little more body, this could be a great beer.
