Draught @ Brewpub. This one poured a ruby tinged amber color. It was fairly clear. There was a very small off-white head on it that left no lacing. Nice aroma. Mainly a smokey, malty nose. The taste was also good. It was slightly sweet, smokey and very malty. A bit of hops in there for a nice balance. A rotating offering, hopefully I will be back in the area when it comes up again!

Very malty beer. Has quite a good hop balance to it though. Quite tasty and easy to drink with a medium mouthfeel. This beer is rotated out with several others that the brewer does seasonally. Next he is supposed to brew a maibock, looking foward to that.
