Part of a flight of six beers that arrived in 4 ounce mini mugs. Nice play on the IPA-APA mix; the bit of malt contrasting with the Cascade hops. Not too bitter and not too sweet, this was an easy drinking ale that was my favorite of the flight.

Appearance: dark orange in color with a fluffy big head that breaks down quickly.
Smell: caramel and a floral hop presence is all you can detect.
Taste: caramel, apple, soft citrus, and a mild floral hop bitterness created a somewhat muted flavor profile.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp from start to finish with a bit of dryness late.
Overall: not sure if this was an APA or high hopped red ale, it kind of fell between the two. This was a mediocre beer, and one pint was all I had before selecting something else.
