Soft bodied as if cask conditioned (itÂ’s not) with a soapy head derived from slack carbonation, this amber ale is corrupted by a major infusion of acetaldehyde in the nose and taste. It is cidery, thin and unevolved with a taste like weak tea. A faint showing of kool-aide aroma and distant melon taste arrive too late to gain appeal. Ultimately its flavor is minimal and unappealing.
