One pint swingtop bottle, hand-bottled by the owner from the tap.
Pours dark mahogany, almost opaque, with crimson edging in the light. Barely a trace of any head with very light carbonation.
Aromatics lead off with light tones of chocolate, bannanas, and caramel. A trace of vineous funk seems to be present also, otherwise pretty clean considering the origin.
On the light side of medium bodied, with a farily watery mouthfeel. Flatish and thin.
Cocoa, bannana, caramel, and a hint of band-aid starts the palate. Lightly roasty with zero bitterness or hopping.
Finishes with light chocolate, caramel, and a hint of toffee.
Not sure on the age of this one, but overall a pretty thin, watery example of the style, but much less funky than I was expecting given the pedigree.
