Cloudy straw yellow appearance with lots of bubbly head tat slowly settles down leaving little lace. Smell consists of grass, citrus, grain and some sweetness.
Taste is similar to the smell, very grainy with a hint citrus and grass. Picked up some hops as well, has almost a bitter and spicy kick to it. Light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Aftertaste is dry with a lingering sweet, grassy taste.
Overall, a different take on Czech Pilsners, but I like it. It's a very dry tasting but still smooth and refreshing. Worth a try if you come across it.

A - Pours a slightly hazy pale straw golden colour, finger of light fluffy head with decent retention and some sporadic lacing.
S - Some light grassy notes, touch of citrus, wheat and biscuit.
T - Sweet corn and grassy wheat off the top, the lemon citrus and a grassy hop bitterness linger on the tongue. Full flavoured for a pilsener.
M - Medium bodied ale that goes down smooth and finishes surprisingly wet.
O - Overall a tasty pils and a solid example of the style. Easily drinkable. By no means mind blowing, but you could easily take down a 6-er of this without any hesitation.

I like the goofy barkeep proffering his Danish elixir on the label, as ever was...
This beer pours a slightly hazy pale straw colour, with two fingers of rocky, lumpy white head, which leaves some nice dense webbed lace around the vessel in its wake. It smells of crackery biscuit grain, and crisp grassy hops. The taste is tart, lemony, grassy, and white saltine cracker. The carbonation is pretty average for the style, the body light, crisp, and ultimately smooth. It finishes dry and clean.
Decent, quite drinkable, and a fairly spot-on Danish analogue of a Bohemian speciality, in that I can only say "Na zdravi"...

From a 330 ml brown bottle. Pours out a chill-hazed pale gold, tall rocky white head with impressive retention. Lots of sticky patches of lacing down the glass as it empties.
Spicy, grassy hops on the nose, a little kiss of citrus, clean neutral grains.
It's all about the hops in the flavour with this one, grassy, spicy, a bit musty and earthy, thins out on the finish, while a spicy herbal quality lingers on, turning to an arugula astringency farther into the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel starts out medium-bodied at first, thins out towards the finish, silky texture, moderate carbonation.
As much as I enjoy hops this still seems pretty lop-sided for the style. Enjoyable but also a bit one-dimensional.

330ml bottle poured into tulip aug13 2010
A hazy golden yellow with plenty of tiny suspended particles and decent carbonation floating up to a thumbs width of head that fell rather quickly but left a few partial rings of lace
S plenty of grassy hops with a slight floral aspect and some sweet malt, a pretty good example of a pilsner
T mimics the smell with plenty of noble hops giving it a little spice in the mouth
M a mild bite, decent carbonation and the flavors linger for a while
D plenty of flavor jammed into 4.6% you could drink this one all day and not run into any problems
I sure can't read anything on this bottle and that's to bad because I'm curious, solid beer though and I'd drink this again
